Online therapy & coaching for adults

real talk

I believe you are the expert of your life and experience.

Our work together is a collaborative process designed to help you access your most authentic and radically loving self. Many of us are not taught how to truly live in our bodies. As a result, we might struggle with confidence and how we relate to others.

That’s where therapy comes in. Through my practice’s values of autonomy, empowerment, and intersectionality, I help people embrace their authentic selves. My goal is to assist you in getting in touch with not only the body you have but also the life you want to lead.

Victoria Fisher LMSW

Hey, I’m Victoria

I help adults feel confident in the bodies they have and the lives they lead so they can celebrate who they are in the world.

My approach to therapy involves whole body and mind acceptance. We receive messages from media, people, and society that tell us we need to change to be loved, but I believe that the real answer is accepting ourselves exactly as we are.

In therapy, I’ll listen and reflect with you, asking questions and offering interpretations. I’ll also guide us along the path you’ve set out for yourself so you can reach your life and mental health goals.

While I’m here as a support, you’re ultimately the one in control. This is your life, and my role is to empower you to live it in a way that you love.

I’m here because I get it.

My personal and professional experiences deeply inform my work. I have lived experience as a queer, neurodivergent, fat person, and I understand how the intersection of multiple identities can shape someone’s life, access to community, and healing process.

I also have a deep-seated interest in helping others. After receiving my Master of Social Work from Grand Valley State University in 2014, I worked in case management for adults with disabilities and achieved my license in 2018.

It was the relationships I built with my clients that inspired me to transition into therapy instead of casework, and I worked in community mental health and private group practices until beginning my own online practice in 2019.

I continue to provide online therapy to adults all over the State of Michigan, as well as coaching for adults across the country and around the world.
